Common hire questions
Do I need an account to hire?
No account required, we set up new hires after collecting basic customer details, validating the customers ID on delivery/collection and a card needed to complete the booking.
Is a deposit required?
The charges for hire are required to secure the hire booking, we follow this process to ensure that bookings are only taken for genuine hire demands, this is managed on a pragmatic basis for recurring customers.
What ID do I need to bring?
A photo ID (driving licence or passport) plus a recent proof of address dated within the last three months, to enable us to validate you are who you say you are and also the address for hire.
Do you offer same-day hire?
Subject to availability of the machines/tools. Secure a booking before 3pm on a working day and we’ll do our best to get the kit to you ready for the next working day.
Are your machines serviced?
Every machine is inspected and serviced between hires, ready for the job.
Do you deliver to site?
Yes, delivery and collection is offered across Lichfield and the wider Midlands. Delivery/collection within 5 miles of WS13 6PY can be completed free of charge, a fee of £1.50 per mile after this is charged.
